The Best of Reno Gala

The Best of Reno Gala was held at the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa on Tuesday, May 14th at 6 pm. Attendees were comprised of all of the top business professionals in Reno, with a range of businesses nominated for awards. Over 180 categories in the Best of Reno Community’s Choice Awards were represented, with everyone eyeing the award of “Best of Reno” for their category. 

The A-Team sent 7 employees to represent Kevin J. Andrews Personalized Orthodontics, which was a finalist for the orthodontist category. Kevin J. Andrews and Associates came in with the title of “Best Orthodontist of Northern Nevada” and were hoping to be honored with the “Best of Reno – Orthodontist” award for the first time. The night was filled with photo booth fun, music, and a sense of community, all coming together for the city of Reno. 

The event started with a cocktail hour, and live music to set the tone for the evening. Guests mingled and networked with each other, all sharing a common love for Reno. Dinner was served, and drinks were flowing for all of the top businesses in the Reno-Sparks area. 150 businesses would come out with the title of “Best of Reno” for their respective categories, and the dinner only made the excitement grow stronger.

 

The Awards Ceremony | Best of Reno

The awards ceremony started after dinner, at 8 pm, and the hosts of the event welcomed Taylor Joy Blatchford, Miss Nevada 2023, to announce all of the categories and the winners.

The A-Team patiently awaited the Orthodontist category to be announced and listened on as hundreds of businesses won the title of “Best of Reno”. With over 180 categories to get through, it was a highly anticipated wait for the “Beauty and Health” category. After watching 149 other businesses win awards, it was finally time for the Orthodontist category to be announced. Dr. Philip Rutkowski, Dr. Katharina Fung, and the rest of The A-Team were on the edge of their seats as the finalist businesses were announced. Taylor Blatchford then called out “…and the winner is Dr. Kevin J. Andrews and Associates Orthodontics!”. The A-Team table erupted with screams of joy and everyone clapped and embraced each other. After 30 years, Andrews Braces had won “Best Orthodontist of Reno”, the highly coveted award. The team was overcome with joy, and proudly took to the stage to accept their award. 

Andrews Braces is now the title holder for “Best Orthodontist of Reno 2024” and looks forward to sharing the news with the Andrews Braces family. The entire A-Team wants to thank the local community for voting for Andrews Braces the best orthodontist in Reno.
