Andrews Braces – Best of Reno Finalist
Andrews Braces is honored to once again be nominated for Best of Reno 2024 in the orthodontist category. Our entire team of doctors, assistants, and administrative staff is committed to providing the best quality of care and service, and are proud to have the accolades to reflect that. Our mission is simple, to provide personalized care that starts in the chair and is continued through each experience that you have with us.

The Best of Reno Gala will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, at The Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa, where the best of Reno’s businesses will come together and celebrate their nominations. The awards will also be presented, and The A-Team will be in attendance, hoping to take home the title of Best of Reno in the Orthodontist category.

Meet The New Faces of The A-Team
Meet Aleta, our amazing Front Office Manager! Aleta joined us in October 2023, and has a background in both the medical and orthodontic fields! She is familiar with Nevada and even lived in Elko for 15 years. She comes to us from Arizona and is the friendly, familiar face behind our front desk! Aleta is a scheduling maestro and will work her magic to find you the best appointment possible. Be sure to say hi the next time you are in our Sparks office!
Meet Natalie, our new Marketing Coordinator! Natalie joined The A-Team in January 2024 with a strong marketing background. She is a University of Nevada, Reno graduate with a marketing degree and a psychology minor. She moved to Reno over 4 years ago from NorCal, and loves the skiing that the Reno-Tahoe area has to offer. Natalie is behind all of Andrews Braces’ funny TikToks and Instagram posts. Be sure to say hi at your smile reveal!
Meet Megan, our new Treatment Coordinator! Megan may seem like a familiar face to you, and that’s because she used to be our New Patient Coordinator! Megan has worked at Andrews Braces for 3 and a half years! Megan is originally from the beautiful PNW but moved to Reno with her 3 huskies that she loves dearly. Megan loves anime and spending time with her dogs. Be sure to say hi to Megan next time you’re in the office and ask her about “Demon Slayer”.

Coming Up: Girls on the Run
Andrews Braces will be sponsoring Girls on the Run Sierras! Girls on the Run implements trained volunteer coaches who facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships, and expressing empathy.
Along with our sponsorship, Andrews Braces will be setting up a photo booth at a Girls on the Run Mini-Golf event! Stay tuned for ways to get involved and photos from the event!

ORTHO TIPS
Have a pokey or long wire?
Place wax to cushion the area or clip the wire with wire cutters or nail clippers. Also try to push the wire back into the bracket using a pencil eraser or tweezers until we can see you. Broken or loose bracket? Place the bracket in a Ziploc bag and call our office during business hours and let us know which tooth the bracket came off of. Some brackets being off are more urgent while other brackets can wait until your next visit. Lost a hook? Try placing your rubber band on the bracket instead. Call our office during business hours and let us know which hook needs to be replaced.

In need of a replacement electric toothbrush?
Let us know! You can purchase one directly from us for $125.00. We also carry replacement ortho heads for $10 each. We recommend replacing your brush head every 3 months while in braces! We also carry Waterpiks for $65.00. Andrews Braces believes in healthy smiles for life!
